Hello,
My name is Melinda
Bell, and I serve as
the local
coordinator for
Winter Jam 2010.
Winter Jam is a
40+ city tour with
some of today's top
Christian music
artists including
Third Day, The
Newsboys, Third
Avenue North,
Newsong,
Fireflight, and a
few others. Not
only is Winter Jam
an event packed
with great
Christian music,
most importantly,
it is an evangelistic
outreach to the
cities the Tour
serves.
Tony Nolan is the
featured speaker
for the Winter Jam
Tour, and he will be
presenting the
gospel message
and giving
attendees the
opportunity to
make a life-
changing decision
for Jesus Christ!
Last year in
Charlotte, 1,300
people responded
to the gospel
message, and
thousands more
were ministered to
through the music
ministry of the
participating
artists. Simply
amazing!
Winter Jam-
Charlotte is
scheduled for
January 10, 2010 at
the Time Warner
Cable (Bobcats)
Arena uptown. We
would like to
personally invite
you and your church
to experience this
event. May I send
you some flyers to
distribute to your
church members
with more
information? The
cost is only $10 at
the door and
promises to be an
evening to
remember!
We are also in need
of about 80
volunteers to arrive
at the Arena at 3
p.m. to work
Winter Jam and
commit to stay
through the end of
the event.
Volunteers will be
responsible for any
number of tasks
including working
the artist
merchandise
tables, taking
money from folks
at the door as they
enter the arena,
passing out
information to
folks as they head
to their seats,
assisting with
taking up the love
offering, and
passing out
information to
folks as they leave
for the evening.
It's not hard work,
but it takes a lot of
hands to get it
done.
Winter Jam is a
life-changing
experience not only
for those who make
decisions for
Christ, but also for
those who faithfully
serve to make the
event possible.
Without committed
volunteers giving
of their time and
talents, this event
could not happen.
This is a great
opportunity to
make a difference
in the life of an
unbeliever who will
be attending and
looking for
answers ... the
Answer! There is
no greater love
than laying down
your life for
another! There is
no greater joy than
watching the
unsaved respond to
the altar call!
There is no greater
reward than
knowing you played
an integral part in
all that takes place
to further the
kingdom and glorify
the One we serve!
The faithful
volunteers who
work tirelessly
behind the scenes
are what make
Winter Jam the
evangelistic
outreach it is to
Charlotte and the
surrounding
communities. If
members of your
church would be
willing to
volunteer, please
have them contact
me. I am sure they
will not walk away
disappointed!
Again, we sincerely
appreciate your
assistance and look
forward to seeing
lives changed for
eternity at Winter
Jam 2010!

Hey!! User error, I'm sure, but I'm looking for the perameters on the mission trips this summer. In particular, the TN and WVa ones. Cost, age, etc... Would that be on the old web site? Or should I just show up for the planning meetings next week. Are those for kids or parents or both??? I know, I'm high maintenance!!
